No*STOP NETWORK is a TSR which runs in DOS client stations. It provides
drive mirroring, a drive being defined as any random access device
identified by a logical DOS drive letter (e.g., F:). The device can be a
network server, a physical hard drive, a sub-directory, a floppy drive, a
RAM drive, etc. Should either drive fail, users can transparently
continue with their work on the remaining drive. A recovery utility is
provided for re-synchronizing drives after a failure.
No*STOP NETWORK requires DOS 3.x or higher, between 10k and 15k of RAM,
and at least two DOS drive letters, one representing the Primary Drive
and one representing the Secondary Drive. Given these ingredients,
mirroring can be completely flexible, such as:
o Server to Server
o Server to Local Hard Disk
o Volume to Volume
o Server Sub-directory to Local Sub-Directory
Up to thirteen drives can be mirrored in a user session. Each user can be
mirroring different resources.
All networks are supported, even heterogeneous networks.
Support is free over an 800 hotline number.
